Q: How much does it cost?

A: We offer personalised solutions, not one-size-fits-all passes, to match your unique fitness goals. We have several options available, from four times a week to once a week.

It is best that you book an appointment and come in so we can discuss your goals and options to ensure you make the right decision. We’ll guide you through pricing options to make an informed decision that fits your budget and lifestyle.

Q: Where are we located?

A: Our location is conveniently situated just off the M1 in Varsity Lakes at Unit 6, 53 Casua Drive.

Q: Is there parking?

A: Certainly! We have designated parking with four allocated spaces for your convenience. If all those spaces are occupied, visitor parking spots and additional parking options are available towards the top of the entrance.

Q: What time do you open and close?

Monday to Friday: 5:00 am – 8:00 pm
Saturday: 5:00 am – 12:00 pm
Sunday: Closed

Q: Are you the same as other personal trainers?

A. Definitely not.

At big box gyms and many other personal training studios on the Gold Coast, each trainer runs their own business within the gym. Each trainer has a different level of experience, service, and results. It would be best if you did your homework. At Alexa Ray Personal Training, all trainers are vetted, undergo weekly staff training, and are coached by founder and head trainer Alexa.

Q: How will you know my fitness level?

A: We have a professional standard in health and training assessments. Our programs are individualised, so you’re training at the level you need to teach to progress. You will feel like you had an effective workout at your initial training session with us.

Q: Do I need a specific fitness level to start Personal Training?

A: No. Personal Training is entirely tailored to your unique needs and abilities. Whether you’re a beginner or at an advanced fitness level, our programming is crafted exclusively for YOU. Our goal is to guide you towards your fitness objectives in the safest, most efficient manner, regardless of your current fitness level.

Q: What else is included in my personal training package?

A: Top-quality training, one-on-one support, and, if needed, keeping you accountable.

Expect to perform at your best mentally and physically and have much fun along the way.

Q: I have trained a fair bit before; can I start?

A: Whether you’re a seasoned fitness enthusiast or a competitive athlete, we hold ourselves to high standards because we are committed to your success. We believe in gathering comprehensive information to ensure the best possible outcomes. Our approach includes:

  • Performing a thorough movement assessment
  • A nutrition and lifestyle consultation

Q: I’ve never trained before, is that ok?

A: Absolutely! If you’ve never trained before, that’s perfectly fine. We take great pleasure in coaching beginners through their fitness journey. Our experienced coaches will guide you patiently, step by step, until you gain competence and confidence in your training.

Q: What result do I expect to get?

A:  Starting with your initial consultation, your goals and intentions will be discussed with your trainer. Our primary objective is to provide you with a fitness experience that is both enjoyable and rewarding while also presenting the appropriate challenges. Understanding that individual results may vary based on genetic makeup, program adherence, and consistency is essential.

Regarding the timeframe for results, you can expect changes in your fitness and energy levels within the first two weeks. A conservative estimate suggests a weight loss of 0.5-1kg or a reduction of 1% body fat every 1.5-2 weeks. However, many of our clients surpass these conservative targets and achieve more.

Q: How frequently can you expect changes to your training program and meal plan?

A: We adjust your training program every 3-4 weeks based on your performance and progress. We change your nutrition plan as needed, typically every 4-6 weeks, to ensure it aligns with your evolving goals and requirements.

Q: Will you yell at me?

A: We are coaches and trainers, not group fitness or boot camp instructors. We focus on working with you to improve your form, enhance training quality, and optimise your nutrition. We firmly believe in a personalised approach. There’s no one-size-fits-all approach, and our coaching is tailored for you to achieve your best results.

Q: Do you provide 2-on-1 personal training sessions?

A: No. Instead, we wholeheartedly believe in the power of a personalised experience because it enables us to achieve outstanding results. Everything we do is carefully customised for the individual, ensuring that your fitness journey aligns precisely with your unique needs and objectives. If you and a partner or friend wish to embark on this journey together, you can sign up simultaneously and schedule your sessions separately. This way, you can still share the experience and support one another, even though you’ll work with separate trainers to achieve your fitness goals.

Q: Will I be locked into a long-term contractual obligation?

A: No, there’s no long-term contract that binds you. However, we encourage a 12-week commitment to optimise your chances of reaching your fitness goals. While you’re not obligated to stay beyond this period, this 12-week commitment will provide us the best opportunity to work together towards your success.

Q: How can I be sure that my investment in a 12-week program will be worthwhile?

While our standard commitment period is 12 weeks, we understand that such a commitment may only sometimes be straightforward for everyone.  We offer limited Fast Track packages (2 sessions) to cater to different needs. These options allow you to experience our studio and Personal Training without a 12-week obligation.

Please Note: The Fast Track Package is available by application only, with only two monthly spots.
